first question, why do you only have 10.5 volts?
its been out of the truck for 6-7 months
Do you have a ground wire from the battery going to the frame. yes
body and engine? uh 1 i think from the firewall i think ill double check
Do you have 12 volts going to the bus bar on the firewall? yes...well 10.5v lmao
The power wires from inside the cab on the passenger side hooked to the bus bar? i have no idea...pull the glove box an itll be there?

welp 12v at the 10ga hotwire
regrounded by a new bolt in the frame. still nothing.
jumped 10ga to grey on fp side it works.
im getting 2-3v to the grey coming from the front with key on. my black an white wire is getting 9-10v with key on.
so ive decided to just run the red FP lead from my NP harness to the grey on my FP harness. then the black an white on the harness ill ground out. ill also ground the black wire from the FP in the same spot. ill then mount the Hotwire noid to a close by bolt.
so correct me if wrong.
red feed wire from NP harness to Grey of the noid.
RED from noid to the grey on my FP harness.
Black/White grounded to frame by FP harness.
Purple wire left alone for the Sender
Black coming from FP grounded out.
when the key is on, my new ECM will tell it to turn the FP on.
being that the oil pressure sensor wont tell the FP relay its on, should i splice the FP relay into my Red lead on the NP harness so it powers the relay?

not sure of wiring the OP sending unit inline, I always bypass it.
-
ill just leave it how it is an if i have problems ill just wire it in.
im starting to get annoyed with this crap....i hate wiring. i should have just taken a vacation so i could work on it for 10 days straight

Like Red instructed me years ago...Ground the frame to the battery, Ground the battery to the engine, Ground the engine to the frame, Ground the computer to the engine, etc. Every wire that is a solid black wire is an engine ground & every wire that is a black with a white tracer, is chassis ground, per the GM Manuals. Grounds, grounds & more grounds.

i have a ground to the battery from the frame. i added a ground in the same location to the head. i have a small ground from the firewall to the frame then a small ground from the fire wall to the back of the head.
Black is not always true bc i have a black from the junction block wired to a noid on the fire wall by the master cylinder. every post on the junction block has 12v.
imma just bypass all the factory BS an run off the NP harness.
anymore trouble ill post up...thanks for the input.

well i got most of the harness installed...
tried to slide the LTs in..wont happen from
the top so when i jack the truck up to install the tranny ill install the LTs then.
im going to finish the FP wiring today when i get home.

Wow those look sweet! That's how I want mine to look! Didn't you say you got them powdercoated? My buddy says that powdercoat won't withstand exhaust temperatures??
