LM7 bored/stroked to 383ci
243 heads done up with a little porting
TR220/220 .556/.556 114LSA cam
TBSS 90mm Intake manifold & TB (running x-link)
Edelbrock shorty headers

running through a 4L60E with Trailblazer stall and shift kit

I am getting excited cuz its almost to completion! :)

Anyone know on these GEN III engines how the knock sensors fit into the valley cover? pictures maybe?

Cuz I have to pass emissions and visual inspection with the truck in WA state. I may go with long tubes and high flow cats at a later date when I have more $$$. plus i got my shorties for cheap.

you thread the knock sensors into the bosses. you put the cover on, connect the wiring harness to the knock sensors. push the rubber boots down onto the valley cover. IMHO id put a thin layer of RTV under the boots, press them down an wipe clean.

thanks keniff. I think I get it now. the knock sensors actaully thread into the block and the grommets on the valley cover (not wire harness) keep the mositure out?

yep :) a lil extra protection is to seal it off with RTV

what kind of gears are you thinking of running in this monster. ubless i missed it

Just the stock 3.73 posi for now.

should be a low 14 second truck..or faster.
