You will get it, it is just very frustrating and annoying. Don't let it beat you, it will be awesome once you are done.

I didn't see a post about codes you got. I just thought you was wondering what the parts were. Louis didn't mess with the transmission parameters, did he? The converter usually works or it doesn't. If it's the TCC solenoid then you usually wont get any lockup unless it has a short somewhere. If it were mine I'd put a 46mod vacuum control kit in the transmission with a forced induction bypass kit. I've just grown accustomed to the kits and like the consistency.
You even posted in it bud. :) click
Not sure what, if anything at all Louis did with the trans...maybe nothing.
Does PATC carry the vac control kit? Going to look...
Nothing we did has anything to do with the DTC's you have. We reused the harness (that also includes the PCS) as well as all the VB stuff. My guess is on converter but there is a chance the TCCS is leaking. I doubt it has an electrical concern. On that note, the fact it had this before should not make a difference on the build we did assuming the pump pressure is good.
I'll do some more research and post back up...
Oh, those codes were from your truck? I was screwing around. I forgot all about that post. :nutz:
:spit:
OPT has the best prices on those parts. Drive using manual 1st and 2nd and you should be good until we can get the vac kit installed.
He needs a meter and a scanner so we can diagnose...but you've got a good idea too.
One of these... Oregon Performance Transmission, Inc.: TRANSGO GM 4L80E, 4L60E VACUUM/BOOST BYPASS KIT
and one of these...
Oregon Performance Transmission, Inc.: TRANSGO GM 4L60E VACUUM MODULATOR KIT
Great for boosted setups IMO.
Easy install?
