He had to redrill the axles because he is running the 8.8 rear end and it comes with a different bolt pattern.

OIC...forgot about the F**d rear axle.
I've been researching an S10 swap and it seems like everyone goes with the 8.8. Must be a reason ;)
Well I ordered a welder last night(lincoln 180hd 240v mig), ordered my wiring 2 weeks ago and am back from school. I'm starting back on her today so some progress should be up soon.
still need to
-install fuel pump
-install gas tank
-finish rear end
-install traction bars
-fix serpentine system
-install brake system
-install headers
-fab exhaust system
-install fenders, hood, and core support
-get computer tuned
-intall new wiring harness
-relocate battery
and a bunch of other little things.
then I need to hope I did it right, this is my first build after all....
hoping to have everything ready by the time my wiring gets here in mid july, and have it on the road by the end of july.
But we all know how project deadlines go...
got my 230v in my garage, routed a few vaccuum lines and fixed my serpentine system. Pics tomorrow
welder is scheduled to get here on tuesday
here she is with a new belt routed for the car style intake. if you do it like this you will need a spacer about 3/4 inches thick or a ton of washers, a longer bolt, and a belt that is 102 inches long to 102.5 inches long, any shorter or longer and it wont work. it took me 4 belts to find that out. 100 and 101 were both too short, and a 102.7 fit but didn't have enough tension on it.
