oh..ill test it again once the engine is running.
:sadnana:
So yea...the truck is sold and I dont wanna talk about it...
Well, I guess you'll have to start another one after you get settled in GA. Sucks to hear, man. Good luck with everything.
you can get them at radio shack
After reading that really all you need is a flex plate im searching for another LQ9 right now. I got my 95 2 door tahoe a couple of months ago and got it to pull my LQ9 swapped G35 sedan.
Its way under powered for towing and i already have 90% of the parts fittings and wiring harnesses. i work for a company that is a fluid transfer specialist and a custom wiring specialist. We do custom wiring harnesses for exactly this type of swap.
Heres the car and hoe i was talking about.

LOVE the G35!!!!! my next LSX swap will be into a 4 door g35 or is300, something with 4 doors.
after swapping into the G35 the tahoe will be a cake walk.
Yea thats what im thinking but im still new to the hoe and what will swap from the NBS to the OBS i know i want to keep 4wd but also want a better trans like the 4l80E but with out having to fab anything or spend to much money. You can tell from my LQ9 g swap im a budget friendly kind of person. When you decide to do another LSX swap let me know and ill help you out with a engine harness.
long time no post i miss my freaking truck!!!!
Chase Bays doing LSX swap harnesses now?
Really don't feel like reading thru 40 pages. What header's did you use since it is 4wd?
Pretty sure he used the pacesetter longtubes for the 99-05 silverados, because thats what i am using on my 4x4 and i think i remember thats what i asked when i was doing mine last winter. Pacesetter Longtubes #70-2265 they have black painted or ceramic coated. def get the ceramic coated
They have one with armor or with out armor coating...Armor coating equivalent to powder coating?
Nice build!
very nice swap
they couldnt keep me away for long. just picked up a 95 tahoe! will be doing another swap soon!
been reading this thread for a few months..got any updated pics of it wrapped up? You use stock fuse panel to integrate the ignition and battery supply to the sensors and ECM?
I believe it was the Bully IK-701. They have gone up in price from $60/$70 in 2011 to over $180.00 in 2013 at site below. Most other sites want $240.

so the 95 was stolen...
How did you get the key to start the 5.3? I can't find the wire for the ignition switch for cranking. I found 2 wires that have power in "on" and then when you crank it they go dead. I'm using the stock 5.3 fuse block and untouched harness.
I kept my original truck fuse box and integrated the two harnesses. so the acc on and crank positions were original only thing i did was spice the stock starter solenoid wire with the ls wire.
Im still around guys. Living in kennesaw ga. Started a movie mechanic business about a year ago going well. hopped back on here because ill be doing a 5.3 swap in a 76 c10. I'm currently looking to get myself another ohs truck. for now I'm in my 95 impala ss
