i dont knwo about yoru part of the state but most places here only charge like 50 bucks for a few dyno pulls.... i would just go in and hook up one day and see what you actually have instead of guessin... its not that expensive... my 2 cents
I would guess about 340 at the crank and maybe 260 on the ground.
how much did they come with stock from chevy?
ok so i googled and it said 345hp and 380tq for an 06 ss w/6.0...
i mean i could understand my truck only being at 260, but i thought his would be higher #'s to the ground
He's got more parasitic drivetrain loss than you do since he has AWD.
so in theory....... i could make daniel my b*tch on the street???..... and this is in theory of course........
You also have the advantage of having a lighter truck. The AWD adds weight and the extended cab vs std cab would handicap him too. If you could reduce your one wheel peeling it might be a great battle.
I HATE THE 1 TIRE FIRE :bash:
Get a posi and let's put it in. You will never regret it. You will only regret NOT getting one.
ok so official thread hijack here but.... the whole rearend gears and things like that scare me and i have never wanted to even attempt anything back there but, correct me if im wrong.... you have your rear end gears ie 3.42's... then i can keep my 3.42 and just add a posi unit in there as well?? or is it a whole set that i have to change it all out... i know going with taller gears will help me scoot off the line, but i drive ALOT of highway and enjoy being able to cruise at 2400 rpm @ 95 mph
