Will driving with open headers to the muffler shop to get the pipe work complete mess anything up? Or possibly burn the valves up?? Its about 20 miles from here and will be done tuesday am. it will be cold outside.

Nope, most of the guys here have done that a time or two..... :doh:
Just keep it to a minimum and then pull the negative cable for a few minutes and your PCM will relearn with the new exhaust. :thumb:
In answer to your :help: ? The problem could be cold air coming up the pipes and cooling an exhast valve that is open [ off the seat ]when you shut the engine off. Possibly warping the valve by cooling it off too quick. Slip some tin cans over the pipe opening and you will have no worries. Be Happy :jump: :twocents:
