Will the 5.3 harness work on a 6.0? And what about a PCM? I am looking at a LQ4 without the harness and PCM. How much will it cost to get these two components. I am looking to transplant this into a 69 chevelle. Any suggestions, ideas, comments? Thanks in advance.

Allen and John can build you a harness that will work a lot simpler than the factory harness plus he can add some length to it so that you can place the PCM where ever you like, even inside the car if you choose. I think his harness is $750 plus the cost of a tune for the PCM. The price of the PCM is whatever you want to pay. The full lifetime tune is listed over on his website and depends on what year PCM you need, probably a 2002 truck PCM. An alternative would be a one time hotrod tune that just gets you running and turns off all the smog crap you don't really need in the older vehicle, complete with calibration for your rear end gears and tire size.

Yes, a 5.3 harness and PCM will work with a 6.0. Watch out for variations such as drive by wire or conventional cable throttle body however and get one that matches what you have on the 6.0. You can always add and delete connectors but that's an unnecessary complication for a first time swap.
Around here you can get a PCM anywhere from $75 to $150 in the junkyards, a stock harness cost me $125. You will need to reprogram whatever PCM you get for your particular application,
