Ok Guys
Today I just fired the 5.3L sucker and it was as crisp as an Oreo!!!!!!!!!
Took some pics and a vid that I'll post latter.
I'll break in the "OldSkool" way....u know me
Fired it up and keep it around 1400rpm and as soon the temp was on norm I place it around 1800rpm for half hour. After that I took it to 3000rpm to hear strange sounds but all ok. then back to idle and turn it off for a total cool down. Tomorrow I'll check everythingn for leaks and so. And take it for the Break-in on highway.
Prelubed and started with 10w30 as thiner oil. Use it tomorrow for the highway test and then throw it and place some 20w50 cause of my clearence on the bearings

Old school, huh. you even broke it in like it had a flat tappet cam instead of a roller cam. :thumb:
