wheree do these go connectd to?

ok i have a couple lines that im not sure where they go connected to.
first theres this hard plastic line that ends around the back of where the alternators supposed to be. i dont have an alternator so i dont know if it goes connected to it.

Then theres this one that is on top of the tranny, one line goes hanging out the back(its just supposed to hang back there right?) and then theres a T where does this one go to?

finally theres this one that comes out the passengers side intake manifold, i think it goes connected to the tranny one. is this correct?

The plastic one I can't find on either my Camaro LT1 swap or the service manuals for 95 Caprice/Impala. Most likely vapor evap related. It does not connect to the alternator.

The second one is just the tranny vent line. Nothing connects to that "t"

The last one on the passenger side should be your manifold vacuum reference that connects to the fuel pressure regulator.. unless the one that is right underneath it that you didn't ask about is connected to the FPR. Then the line in question would be related to the evap solenoid also... I can't be certain because I eliminated the evap system from my swap long before first start..... and the service manuals are not clear.

yeah on the last pic the line on the bottom is separated and i believe it is connected to the fpr. can i just plug the upper one up?

if i cancel out the egr system, will it make it run any better or worse?

2 different systems, vapor recovery and EGR. You can definitely remove the vapor recovery stuff unless you have a state DMV inspection that will look to certify your conversion with all the original smog parts... most people don&#39;t have to worry about that however. (California is a problem in that department... all Californians please stand up and exit the room in an orderly fashion...... thank you)

The LT1 will run well without EGR, in fact the 96 LT4 variant eliminated it completely..... If you still have your stock programming in your PCM however you will get an EGR code set from time to time..... But, it will run well..... so the short answer is, if you aren&#39;t using that vacuum port, plug it&#33;

(disclaimer...... the previous comments were NOT a slam against Californians..... just the smog regs you have to deal with there)

ok i went to the junky yard today and i saw what goes connected to the line on the passengers side ontop of the egr line and it goes into the harness? whats that for and where does it come out of the harness again? oh yeah, the hard plastic line by the alternator goes to the fuel vapor canaster. ile just route it back to my stock one.
