Just a couple of questions...
I'm currently tuned for 89 octane and want to know what kind of gains I'd see with a 93 octane tune?
Also, can someone explain what the "dual" tune is?
Thanks guys...

Dual tune is when you run 87-89 it runs in a different timing table, but when you put the 93 oct. in it runs off the 93 timing table, computer measures it some how lol, you will pick up another 2/10's I would say with a 93 tune.
OK....So with the dual tune, you can run any gas at any time and it will adjust for it automatically? Seems odd. But if it works, I'd sure switch. Allen (or anyone else), if you read this, is there an additional cost to get that tune?
Also, in terms of hp, what are we looking at (ballpark)?
Ive just started tuning, so this may not be right, but from what I gather there is High octane and low octane table.. you just tune the high one for 93 and the low one for 87 and if the computer sees knock it will refer to the low octane table.. I noticed huge gains when I went to 93, my tune is a hot tune though, its not dual, therefore my high and low octane tables are the same so I run 93 all the time.. I think you would like what you get out of 93 tune, especially if allen is doing it..
the only problem with the dual tune is it could get stuck in the low octane like mine did, even after going to the higher octane for several months, for 2.00 bucks more for gas is it worth it, nope.
Yeah I wouldn't want to have that either. So any issues with just a straight 93 tune? Any idea what kind of hp increase I'd see?
No idea on the hp increase, but my fine ALOT stronger after going to the 93 hot tune..
