I ran 7.96@88.8 mph 1/8 mile and was disappointed. I got beat by my friend with identical engine setup, but he has 4.10 gears. he ran a 7.48@93mph.
I don't think gears will make up that much, but will they hurt or help. I have 3.73 in it now.

They wont do anything but HELP. If you dont have to worry about gas mileage, go with 4.56's.
On the top end they hurt you. Mine and my buddies truck have the same mods. Except he has 3.73's and I have 4.10's. From 30, i jump him by a fender, and from 95+ he starts to gain on me. From stop i jump him like 1-2 trucks, then again at 95+ he starts to gain on me.
1/4 mile is all you should worry about ;)
after that, they can have it..
yup in 1/4 & 1/8 they will help... on the highway at like 100mph they will hurt you... but who cares bout that lol. actually to be hoenst if you do alot of city driving wit your truck you mpg will go up if you do 4.10s if your at alot of highway speeds youll probably lose 1-2 mpg... im goin 4.10s in my sierra when i get the money
4.10's was one of my best mods i've done so far to my truck....I've been keeping all my timeslips and each time i do a mod i go to the track to see how much of a improvement it makes.. I'm not sure how much it will help you out since you have 3.73 gears but it will help out a little on your 60` times... with the factory gears in mine after i swapped my 4.10s in i dropped .2 tenths in the 1/8th.
THEY WOULD ONLY REALLY BE GOOD FOR LONCH,BUT TOP END YOUR F-ED
I WOULD GO WITH 355S THEY WORK GOOD FOR MY HEEP:lol:,I RAN A 9.1 IN THE 1/8..:D
