I hope u can help me with this one.
There's a guy selling an engine, and he said it is a LT1. I was willing to buy it, but when I went to see it, It had Iron heads!!!!!
I took the Id block number V0422WKC and was hopping to any of u guys can tell me if it is a LT1 or some variable of the 5.7L
The injection system is on, and looks exactly as a Camaro 96!!!!

The LT1 was available with iron heads on Impala SS, Caprice, Buick Roadmaster and some Cadillac models (B-Bodys). 1994-1996 It's a real good engine 260HP and around 300 lb ft torque...
Be careful of what you are looking at however. The L99 (4.3L V8) was available in the Caprice and Roadmaster those years and looks just like an iron headed LT1. I don't have the block I.D info to help you identify one from the other however. Should be available through a web search.

You were totally right. The engine IS a L99!!!! Never heard before of a 4.3L V8....first time for me. I thought those were only V6.
It came form a Police Car !!!! another wow, cause at 200HP what that police cruiser could do?
