lq9 iron block, lunati forged 4" stroker crankshaft, lunati 6.125" pro mod ls1 rods, diamond 15cc pistons, clevite main and connecting rod bearings, prc stage 3 cylinder heads(2.08"/1.60" valves, dual valve springs), tsp custom-grind camshaft, rollmaster timing set, comp roller lifters and hardened pushrods.

this is going to be setup for nitrous later on down the line. so if you know of a better setup for it, please with all due respect, chime in with your knowledge, as i'm quite new at the build-up process.. aswell as nitrous. :hshake:

i'm trying to buy new on everything planned.. unless my spending habits start to get sloppy. therefor, i'm in dire need of a new lq9 block, cheapest takes the cash. pm me with links.. cheapest i've found is $550 bare block.

let me know what you all are thinking on this project.. i'm looking for a solid 700rwhp after n2o and supporting mods. :nutz: :smile:

Get Allen Nelson or Billy at TRTTurbo to build you what you need. They know who can do it and do it correctly. I've got one being built right now. I would suggest you get everything you can coated, too. Piston skirts and bearings are definitely a must. Make sure the heads you choose are CNC ported, not hand ported. You want all ports the same size and it's very important that they are.

The Lunati stuff is very nice, but for the price and the power level you want, Eagle would do fine. Give me a call about the block. I have new 6.0 blocks cheaper than the $550.00 you were talking about.

i'll definitely get in contact with you.. i haven't much planned yet, besides what i've got written above. i'm not fully equiped right now with a loaded bank account either, so buying pieces here and there will have to suffice for the time being.

i've heard very good things about the lunati parts, so i figured i've give it a try.. if i don't necessarily need to go full bore on parts right now, i'll definitely settle for the eagles.

if you don't mind, can you write me up a quick quote on what you might be able to get me for a fully assembled? i'd appreciate it.. notice you're in the dfw area aswell. we might be doing quite a bit of business :hshake:

Any costs on a resleeved block that can be opened to a 4.125" bore?
