New guy from CA...any other other Komufornia guys out there?

Yo….new guy on the block here.

Been lurking around for a while and figured I’d finally register so I could get “assimilated”.

Looking to do some mods to my 2001 2500HD 4x4 ECSB 6.0L tow rig/DD to get some more torque and better mileage. I use it to regularly tow my 1977 K5 rock crawler and 2400# car hauler trailer it rides on to the Rubicon and other wheeling locations. Going to Moab in October with a bunch of buddies and want to put on some headers, cat’s and new exhaust to help with the drive out there.

You’re not missing anything here….my opinion you guys in TX have it made&#33;&#33;&#33;

My mom and some other family used to live in Addison/North Dallas when I was in High School and I spent tons of time visiting out there in the summer and xmas breaks…I loved it. So much so that when I graduated HS I got an Air Force ROTC scholarship and chose to go to Texas A&M and be in the corps of cadets…that lasted for about 1 year and then I had to leave because I wanted to change majors but couldn’t without having to pay out of state tuition (=&#036;&#036;&#036;&#036;&#036;&#036;) to keep going. So I left TX and have missed it ever since. Still got family in San Antonio and made it out there in 2002 for visit and to go to Niosa. Think I’m due for another visit here soon……
