Sorry, Moze, I kept him away from your truck for a while.
BTW, I see you went to TxMotorplex already. I was going to break the news that I won't be able to make it next week since I holed a piston and killed 10 million mosquitos on my way home last night.

And no, haven't been to the Motorplex yet...just posted their times/prices. I may go Friday. Still undecided.
Oh yeah, the was 93ext.
hey moze when you go let me knwo im lookin to get some times in..... i have my headers and cam coming soon so i wanna get a few more base runs in since ive passed the 100k mark on the odometer
Well the converter is in and feels GREAT. First time I've ever broken the tires loose on dry pavement - lol.
I've been kind of taking it easy on it (not sur eif there's a break-in period) but I'll be trouncing on it by tomorrow. I've nailed it a few times from a stop and it jumps to 3,000 rpm, right where it's supposed to be. Lock-up is also great.
If anyone is in the market for a converter, I would highly recommend a Fuddle.

That converter normally runs $400 but he was having a sale and I got it for $360 I think it was. Billy said he's felt the Yank 2600's and like the feel of this Fuddle a lot better. :thumb:Quote:

Congrats on the new toy. I'd like to drive a few different trucks with different brand convertors to feel the difference.
Moze, how do you like starting out like your parking brake is on?? When you punch it the engine gets with it doesn't it! :burnout:
I like the Fuddle, just think a 2600 would be a little better for daily driver than a 3000 with the set up I have. Maybe it will be more in line when the FI gets installed......
