whats the best way to get my door emblems off? theyre off my tailgate cause i got it repainted, and im thinkin bout doing away w/ the other ones, too.

Just peel the things off, and get some 3M adhesive remover or an eraser wheel to get the double sided tape off your door next.Just be sure and not to scratch your paint when your trying to get under the emblem.

I used a teflon/plastic spatula......don&#39;t tell the wife&#33; v :cool:

i wont...... if you dont tell my wife i used her &#036;120 CHI hair dryer to take mine off.

Fishing line to get behind the badge and get if off, the eraser wheel to get the stickies off.

Fishing line to get the emblem off then use 3M adhesive/wax remover. It&#39;ll take about fifteen minutes to remove the door emblems and the trim package emblem.

Don&#39;t forget to use some Dupont No. 7 to polish up the paint around where the emblem was. If you&#39;ve got scratches or the paint is old you&#39;ll be able to tell where the emblems were especially if you have solid paint.

with the eraser wheel u just get a razor(or fishing line) and remove the strips, and then the eraser wheel takes off all residue left on there, then just wipe it off and u cant tell anything was ever there, have used this method on all my take offs and it works perfect&#33;
