Parts needed for trans cooler

Hey guys, I get asked this quite a bit so I'll just post up.
Here are all the parts needed to install a trans cooler, as far as the cooler and connectors.

All parts are made by Russell and are available from summit:
670150 - -6an to 1/2"
639200 - -6an to 3/8" tube
624160 - 90deg -6an
670300 - -6an straight
You'll need two of each connector above.
TransCooler: 70274

This may not be your preference on setting up a trans cooler, but it'll work great.
You can route both trans lines to this one BM cooler or just cut one line and route the new cooler inline with the stock one.

or you could just buy a tru-cool kit that comes with everything needed to install the cooler without cutting any of the factory lines. i got the 2800 gvw and it takes care of my 3200 converter perfectly for under 40&#036;

Got a part number on that kit? I have the factory cooler and am thinking about adding another one for some extra protection. It doesn&#39;t get as hot here as it did in Houston (I just moved), but I would still like the extra cooling capacity for when I do go with a bigger stall :cool:

I am interested in this kit because of the fact that you don&#39;t have to cut any factory lines.

try "tru-cool 4590" on ebay. they have a 40,000 GVW cooler which is the largest on the market but i think its a bit overkill.

the larger cooler is 4739

Thanks for the part number...looks like the price has gone up to about &#036;70 though.

I didn&#39;t see a complete kit, just a cooler from the pn&#39;s you listed above. What is the pn for the entire kit that doesn&#39;t require any lines to be cut?

Part number with the lines and all included is 4739.I just got one and it is awesome. 40,000GVW and works great with my converter
Did not have to cut any lines.
