Chevy may junk TrailBlazer, build smaller Hummer
GM will shelve ‘Blazer by 2010 and offer an H4 in vehicle fuel efficiency push, analyst says.

DETROIT — General Motors Corp. may dump the Chevrolet TrailBlazer SUV and build a smaller Hummer as rising fuel prices push buyers to more fuel-efficient models.

The TrailBlazer will cease production in about 2010 when Chevy gets a more car-like SUV as a replacement, said Global Insight Inc. analyst Rebecca Lindland, citing discussions with parts suppliers. The new Hummer will arrive in 2009, she said. GM wouldn’t confirm either move.

if they make this move it would be horrible, personally the H3's are pieces of shit. the H2 doesnt impress me, infact the only hummer that i like is the H1 which they wont make after this year! hummer is a dead brand now, they should scrap it. GM will turn it into another JEEP type product, and we got all the JEEP we need, thanks GM!

Heard about this awhile back...Well at least we may have a limited model now. I guess I need to get a new vehicle now and put the TBSS in a glass vacuum bubble and pull it back out in 40-50 years to collect my interest...LOL !!!:laugh:

chevy is kicking ass, GM is fucking up the chevy name. im ready for the covette SS with the ls9&#33; and camaro, but not that fucking truck. although on that truck maybe GM performance division will make it look sweeeeet and juice it with an ls7??? reg cab with 505horses???? and yeah dodge has the ram srt-10, but i think GM will do a better job IF they make it the right way&#33;
