Lq9 HO = Lq9?

whats the difference in the lq9 and the lq9 HO (high output)?

I thought the LQ9 was the HO :nutz:

for sure the lq9 is the high compression version of the lq4, making it the vortec 6000 high output, or vortec maxx. with 25-45 extra horses over the lq4, it puts out 345 stock hp.

the heads are the same between the two engines, the pistons are differentto get the higher compression. The rods are also different from what i have been told. but lq9 and lq9 HO are the same thing
