Finally got the TR224/112 cam in and it idles like a beast! Thanks for everyones help. I used the compressor method for the springs and put the pulley in the oven. Both methods worked great. :jump: Is there anyway to make it idle higher? The thing dies alot! I plan on getting a Nelson tune but dont know when that will be. I still need to see if there is an idle screw. Thanks
You need to get a new tune from Allen. That will fix the idle. It might get better after a few hundred miles of drivng too.
But get a new tune to get the full potential.

Drive with 2 feet until the retune. One on the brake, one on the gas.
Some people drill the TB blade to let more idle air in, but that is just a bandaid.
Like I said, a couple of days driving it will relearn the idle much better, but a retune is a must.

I adjusted the idle screw and it is working good now. just need the tune
