Being that I am happy about the project coming together, I take a ride out to G-town after dropping my wife off at work. Got to Sonic @ 9pm. Nothing went on there, but a bunch of teenagers hanging out. Got bored around 9:30pm, so I headed home. Get around some intersection on 61 (think it was Pecue, may be wrong), and this RCSB has three girls in the bed of the truck, and a guy hanging out the window. Truck was goosin' around, so I'm thinkin' somebody wants to play. I catch up to the truck @ 90mph, and pull along side.
At this point, I'm seeing it's a bunch of teenagers having fun. I blow away from the truck, he gooses, but doesn't pursue. I slow to 65mph, and wait. We come to a light near an Exxon station, and the passenger (guy) asks me, "wanna run?" 8) I reply, "why not?" Then, the smart-ass driver says, "light turns green, you get yo ass whooped". I'm trying to get even with the truck, and hit the brake. That second the light turns green, and he's got half a truck on me when I hit the gas. The passenger says, "see ya n****r". Once I start moving up to 35mph, he had me by 1.
Oh, but wait... the 6K #'er gets to 3K RPM. The touch of God kicks in, and I'm reeling him in quick. He has me by half when my 1-2 shift kick'd in @ 55mph. Once 2nd kick, it pulled hard enough to jerk that other half back. Shut the passengers mouth up once I got beside him and flipped the bird for the comment he made. He makes a gesture as if he wants to quit racing. Get to 95mph when my 2-3 shift kicks in. Hit 100mph, looked back, and had him by 3. I let out & slowed to 55mph, and he caught up around Baringer Foreman. They give me a smile & thumbs up, and say, "fast truck". I smirk, and blast away.
Then this Toyota ex-cab pickup on boggers wants to try to blow by me with a slight whistle. He got me by 1, til that Touch of God kick'd in. Got about 80mph, and inched away til I had him by 1 @ 100mph. Slowed then he gave thumbs up, and turned off. I'm thinking that whistle was the Phantom whistle, or the boggers kept him from running faster.
I'll take that as 2 for the 6K #'er. Not bad for a slight tweak of the PCM.

ha ha... yeah... not bad for a stock Yukon. Well, the PCM's not really stock... hehehe.

hey at least you kept your cool, sort of. for most of the story when i was reading it, i was thinking you were in your shortbed. i was like jesus quit toying with these guys and just drop the hammer on them. but nonetheless goodkillx2
