k guys Daniel(red03silss) worked all day on the truck today, he's gonna try and use the v6 motor mounts. the only problems seem to be clearance on ac pump due to the cross member underneath it, but we can notch it out and weld up a boot for that. the other problem is the position of the v6 compared to the v8 will put the v8 mounted a lil further up in the engine bay. with that said the drive shaft will probably be too short, so what do i do here?????? can i buy a custom length DS and if so know of any prices???? let me know what ya'll think cuz were getting close and im thinking we may have it done by the end of the month!!! thanks guys!

im no expert because ive never done anything like this, but maybe shim the drive shaft up? someone mentioned that when i was lowering my truck in case it was off. im not sure if that would even work, its just a thought.

I would not move the engine forward. Weld up some mounts if you must.

Agree with RHB. We did custom motor mounts when I did my TBI to LS1 swap. Besides the problem with the DS another problem might be pinion angle....
