Well as some of you may or may not know, I am going to be ordering a 2500HD CCSB Duramax in the spring. So...anyone have an idea of the lag time between ordering the vehicle and it arriving?
I need to flip it where I get the tradein ready and give my brother the truck I have currently. I don't want to drive the tradein for any longer than I need to.
Thanks!

Are you going to be getting this thing fully pimped or why do you need to "order" it? Why not just get a 2003 model in late winter as they try to ditch them? Anyways, if you order it, the delivery time varies, if their supply is good though you are probably looking at a month or two. You won't be able to really negotiate but when you sign on the line for the price, you should be able to get them to agree to a fixed price for your trade in. Then you don't have to worry much about the mileage that you put on it while you are waiting. And why the hell am I giving advice on this??? The woman use to sell cars for a living, not me :whack:

Took my '98 a good three months. It was in the fall of '97 during the model year change so that might have made it a bit longer.

I was gonna say 6weeks for delivery, considering everything goes well.
Maybe you can go down to the dealer like he suggested and get one really close to what you're looking for.
that's gonna be one badass ride,

Took mine less than a month, but I know the owner of the dealership I got it at, so I got it for a really good price, and exactly how I wanted it (don't mean to brag or anything  )
