Sorry about the blank reply.
Dental floss. Just get it started behind the emblem and work down. You will probably break a few pieces, but it will work. I took all the emblems of my pickup and the wife's Tahoe this way. You can then hit the gooey residue with a little alcohol.
If it's thick enough you can grab it with pliers once you have a corner lifted and just pull it off. A 3M stripe-off wheel on a drill motor takes the glue and foam residue off without damaging the paint.
yeah eraser wheel it off. as redheartbeat stated it does no damage and works perfect! it almost acts like a buffer cuz it gets it really clean. thats what i used on my trucks moldings, and u cant tell they were even there!

can i get that at autozone?
jethro let me use his sticker shock, and a small piece of plastic with a sharp edge. never once scratched the paint, took everything off, except the chevorlet. might do that later on.
you can get sticker shock at autozone, and 3m remover at home depot.
The 3M stripe-off wheel is only available to auto paint stores, I believe. They are about $20 or so, so be prepared if you decide to go that route. It will last you a long time. I've done three vehicles with mine so far and still have about 1/2 of it left.
i ended up using wifeys hair dryer.. it came off easy once the adhesive got warm. so anyoone else should try that too..thanks for the advise though guys :hshake: :thumb:

The 3M stripe-off wheel is just like a big eraser the buffs the adhesive off the paint without damaging it. It's like a white rubber eraser mounted on a spindle that you mount in a drill motor. Its about 4" in diameter and does one hell of a job.
