I got these springs and retainers with the 2005 GTO LS2 heads I just installed. They have the brown identification paint on them, not painted yellow. These springs are used on the same camshaft as the LS6, the LS2 uses the same spec cam. There is nothing wrong with these, I replaced the stock springs with dual Manley springs and titanium retainers. Included will be the keepers and the old seals I pulled off that were still good but would not work with my new dual springs. Mileage was 16k.
These would be great to put back on a set of heads you're selling or just have high mileage upon.
Just to clarify, these springs will work with up to the 2001 LS6 cam. THe 2002-2004 had more lift.
