Two ricers in one shot...

Me and my buddy were going out Saturday to the Tipperary Inn and as I was going down 635 here come two ricers down the onramp (one following the other). They're screwing around, punching it as they come down the ramp. The one lets the other get alongside him as he gets on the freeway (traffic was surprisingly light), they slow down to about 50 (as did I) getting ready to run each other. I pulled up next to the one on the left and he flashes his lights. (You can ask Allen and Dustin how good this thing downshifts. It'll snap your head back pretty good for a 4WD.) As soon as he flashes his lights, we all three nail it. I smoked them. Both. I didn't tie them. I didn't slowly pull away. I didn't gradually pull away.

I SMOKED them. It was totally exhillarating. I kept on it until about 95± (probably more "+" :laugh: ) and let off and it took them both a second to catch up, where in typical ricer fashion, they both blew by me.

But it was fine. I toasted both of them WITH another guy in the truck. Perfect boys night out. Smoke a couple of ricers, drink a couple beers. Ahhhh. :thumb:

Man you get into more races than anybody I know! I can't get a bite from anything. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough. I tried to get an SSR to bite the other day on the freeway but he wasn't havin it. Seems like everybody with anything worth racing is either old or a chick. :sad: Congrats on your good fortune though! :thumb:

Not a clue what they were. They put so many body kits and wings and crap, I can&#39;t tell what they are. They had fart mufflers, so I just called &#39;em ricers.

I think this makes about 6 or so. I can&#39;t say I don&#39;t look for them though and it&#39;s not hard to find a race around here. But you&#39;re right - sometimes I see a Dodge and will kind of ease up alongside it and it&#39;s an elderly lady or a school girl or something. Cracks me up. I&#39;m still itching for a Titan.

I really need a stall though. It&#39;s too heavy to get off the line quick with the stock one.

Yeah, makes me wonder if they pulled over after to shoot the bull. I can just imagine the conversation....

"Hey good run man, nice car ya got there, you beat me by like two lengths..."

"Yeah good run, but gees, what the crap is the deal with that pick-up truck that smoked both of us...? Kinda sucks we both got beat by a TRUCK..."

I can&#39;t find a race even after leaving the car show here on Saturday nights. Might be the cops around Williamson County... :help:
