Its the truck thats in my signature..clean interior, no a/c, 175,xxx miles i think its a pretty clean truck that just needs to be painted, but if i were to sell it what would you guys pay for it, and what price would i try to sell it at?

Depends which engine is in it now. 4.3L, I'd say 4500. 5.7L, $5000. 5.0L, $4500. I'd sure ask a lot more though if you got it painted. A good quality paint job is gonna cost about $2500, $800 or so at MAACO.
its a 4.3l 5 speed..the reason i am thinking aobut it, is that there are things i wish i wouldnt have done to it, and things that i wish i would have, and i found a truck (not sure what year, but its a 88-94) that is a swb totally stock with a 350 and an auto, not exatly sure how much, but im going to find out tomarrow, and i like the color and sorta want a new start on a project. but im not sure..the truck in my sig, was my first vehicle so im not sure..just thinking about it

Keep what you have. It's got a lot of potential. Buying something used can bring major headaches and regret.
reds right cause it might look pretty all around but someting down the road might eventually go. No tellin what. Looks and sound may be deceiving. At least you got something that you built and you know the truck already. What were some of the things that you wish you havent done to it??
you'll never be done building a project, theres always something to add or to upgrade.

I'd follow everyone's advice. Keep the truck, and do a motor swap, if that's part of what's driving the curiousity. Your truck's got potential. All you need is paint. I've seen MAACO jobs, and they are bad. Take it for what it's worth... :thumb:

i wish i had put a 4/6 kit on it and wouldnt have shaved the doors, only the tailgate, and what sucks is of course im an 18 year old college student with no money, driving a money pit. i have a 2001 LQ4 sitting in my garage, and no money to do anything with it..

J/K... my wife would be pissed if I spent more money, and haven't completed my current project. I thought about selling my C10 a few years ago, and changed my mind. I'm glad I did. I know how ya feel with the "no money" situation. A buddy of mine just graduated college, and his Jimmy's been out of commission for 1.5 yrs. Let's just say that LS1-powered grocery getter was worth the wait. I've learned that unless you have a money tree in your backyard, mods take time.
Once you have the engine, half the battle is over. The rest of the parts are chump change. Just buy a part here and a part there. Before long you'll have everything you need to put it together. As for the shaved handles, the only regret I have is not buying strong enough solenoids or having a weak battery or too small of wire powering it. I am going to install bicycle brake/shifter cables to pull the latch with should the battery ever go dead. You can always cut the filler panel back out with a grinder, just go slow and take your time so you don't warp the steel. Finding replacement parts is easy, post over on GMFS and there are lots of guys with all the parts to put it back to stock. Post stuff you don't need anymore for sale to raise some funds. I've been hoarding parts for a very long time and have started selling off a lot of things to pay for additional mods. If you're going to swap the V6 out, post it up for sale as soon as you start the conversion or if you have something else you can drive for a short while, post the V6 up for sale to help raise some money for the conversion.
