Aside from the cost of the engine/trans/computer, what is the addition cost to swap a 6.0 into a 94 4x4? Things i've come up with include wiring harness, engine mounts, exhaust, new tune, what else is there and how much do these things typically run $$ wise?
thanks

Well,
Being you are in the Peep Holes republic of Caulifornia which has been over run by smog nazis which I live in . Make sure you have the factory y pipe and cats and all smog equipment for that year mo tar, figure 100.00 for new high pressure fuel pump, 130.00 for corvette fuel filter , high pressure hose and misc. fittings, 40.00 for tack adapter, 85.00 for speedo converter, 30.00 for water temp sender, 30.00 for oil sender if you didn't rob it off the old motor , 25.00 for wiring diagram , 150.00 for cold --very cold beer if you plan on doing it in the summer to keep you calm and collective while doing chevy surgery .So any savings on these figures I would add to the beer figure, or if your into wine a good old vine zinfandel! LOL.

For a complete swap... You should budget AT LEAST $5K for parts. That is my goal.
$2100 - 5.3L / 4L60E, plus accessories & stock harness
$225 - Cam
$300 - 3K stall TC
$100 - 918 springs
$220 - UDP
$55 - Accessory drive belts (shortened)
$250 - Driveshaft (custom, strengthened)
$250 - PCM (tuned for my application)
$230 - POSI
$120 - Gears
$100 - Fuel lines & fittings (approximate cost, don't remember)
$100 - Fuel pump
-----------------
$4050 (total thus far)
I still have to get gauges, exhaust, and custom A/C lines, and I should be set. Think I'll overspend my original budget by nearly a G.
** NOTICE: That $5K's just for parts... I didn't include anything for labor. My wrenching and wiring was done by me & a few buddies. Yes, a lot of beer was consumed so far.
