I just learned of this website today and had to check it out. I noticed some of these swaps on here look very familer to a few I saw up on Performancetrucks.net. I just finished a 4.8L swap into my 1993 SCLB 2WD Sierra about 2 months ago. I have to set my site up with some pics, but the project is up and driving, just have some wiring bits to clean up. The swap has 1000 miles on it now, and I am very happy. Compared to the smokey 4.3L TBI that was in there, this truck is a rocket, and I already have towed a 4200# Caprice on a car trailer with it.
I adapted the 2001 engine harness into my truck, designed and fabbed my own engine brackets, and fit a stock 2004 Silverado exhaust system in. I am in the process of having the motor mount brackets laser cut and will be offering them up for sale soon, as well as a 95% plug and play adapter harness with two/haul functionality as well. Fuel lines too!
Finally, I am working on a AC bracket to use your existing Harrison (round pancake style) AC compressor on the main serpentine drive. No new AC lines needed!
I am looking for a 4WD 88-95 truck to fit up a 2002 4wd Sierra 5.3L powertrain. If anybody in the Motown area wants to be a guinea pig, drop me a line!
Glad to find this site! Have I used too many exclamation points??!!!!! Must be too much Mountain Dew for lunch..
If you have any questions, heck the swap is FRESH in my head, so I am happy to offer any advice as well.

How's it goin? :hshake: Can you make a high mount bracket for the f-body a/c compressor?

Welcome, again. We'll definitely be interested in seeing what you are offering. Anything to speed up a conversion is welcome.

I'm in the middle of a 6.0/4l80e swap into a 93 Yukon 4x4. What did you do for your fuel system? I have the return line on my fuel rail and not sure if it would be easier to swap to a returnless set up.
Any pics of your swap?
