Hemi

2 weekends ago me and my friend are cruising down the strip here, and a hemi pulls up. I don't like Dodge's, but I'll give this guy props it was really nice(for a Dodge). It was a 4 door, so it may not be so impressive. but anyways, we're in my friends 2003 Silverado SS, and we've been waiting for a challenge. So we get to a stop light and wait. red...red..red..green!!!!!&#33 ;!!! where is he? O damn he's back at the light smoking his tires. Literally no contest, and even if he would've been smart and babied it for a second there was clearly no chance. I guess that all-wheel drive comes in handy huh? Allen I've told him about u sir, and he WILL be getting a tune from u soon! Just thought I'd share

:thumb: Yes thats why i love my awd! LOL its sucks trying to find a dyno but im guess i can just disconnect my shaft on the front and be good. keep thinking about it but scared to mess something up. LOL

are all of the cehvy SS Silverado's awd? i thought some were just rear wheel?

'03 and '04 are ALL awd, in '05 some came out as 2wd and now all'06 are 2wd............ wait, that is the same as the VHO was in '05!!!!!!!! :point:

Chevy basically just made the SS a Vortec Max. This year as an option u can even have the 320hp version of the 5.3 as an engine. and in my opinion the new one&#39;s are uglier. I&#39;d still drive one, but y mess with the design just supercharge it Chevy&#33; Another great looking truck they quit producing. Chevy has made the SS Silverado cheap and if anyone buys one with the 5.3 take the badges off. The 5.3 is nice, but seriously that lq9 is what SS is all about. And AWD should be mandatory&#33;
