Did what you guys recommended, grinded the hump out of the motor mount cup and the engine dropped right in! Tranny bolted up , exhaust was tight but fit, now the dreaded wiring  actually without the wiring diagram and refrence from ls1tech, I have the starter working and fuel pump, but I have a whole bunch of pink wires I think that are all fused gonig to the injectors and ignition but I am not sure. PCM was done by Allen with an 89 hot tune. can't wait to here it.

Red wires are hot. Pink are switched. Black are ground. Blue is fan. Green is fan. Tach is white. Fuel pump is grey I think. Any more questions?
Like you, I had to use my resources on LS1Tech.com for a diagram. I also posted how to convert a harness over there somewhere.

We should make a sticky of all of he swap info that we have learned over time on LS1truck too. We don't have anything like that on here do we, or am I just overlooking it. Who is responsible for that kind of stuff? It's not you is it Red?

Thanks Redheart, I have 2 red with white stripe and two orange, 19 freaking pinks! some dark some light. I take it pink is switched power to everything.
-
Yup. When I first saw that, I said screw it. I'm using the stock truck fuse center for now. I may rework the entire harness, or call Allen when I get the money tree growing in my back yard.

Sweet! I wish I had your wiring Yello91Silverado. How about some pics?
-
The light pink vs dark pink is just age. If you get further back into the harness you'll see they're just about the same color. Red w/white, I had those too but don't remember where they hooked to. Those are in the LS1 harness, right? Always refer back to the wiring diagram colors listed on the PCM chart, those listed on LS1Tech are spot-on.

The harness is a factory 05 5.3 with a big black plug that plugs into the fuse box, unfortunatly I didn't recieve the fuse box. I'll try to post some pics. I bought the thing on ebay during Christmas , I was the only bidder. This thing only has 5 miles on it, when I separated the tranny from the engine you could see the water line just below the center of the torque converter.

Oh hell, that thing was in a flood?

I was so looking for a flood 6.0L! Still waiting on my insurance agent to let me know what's out there.
