i bought these tires from a friend....he told me that they hold air but not sure there is some tear where wheel mounts....i was gonna buy 20s but not anymore....there are 4 goodyear eagle ls 275/55/20....i dont want much best off....

how much for the tires? and how many miles do they have on them?
The tires with the tears on the bead are probably junk since that is where the seal is. You may get lucky and get them to seal. I'd sure call a tire store to see if they think they hold air like that.
