I'm looking for a cheap and easy way to level out my Tahoe. I don't care if it's lifting the front or dropping the rear, but I want to do it myself and for cheap. What do you guys think is best, rear drop coils or front lift spindles? I'm kinda thinking spindles, that way I can get a little bigger tires and rims, which equal bigger brakes later on. Thanks
You will deff. need bigger wheels for bigger brakes so you can use the spindles as an excuse if you got a wifey or gf bustin on you. Just a tip for you guys out there. I know they do not understand why in the world we do some of the things we do but hey. If you are lucky and they dont care then cool.

The springs would be the cheapest for your aplication if you just want to drop the rear but it is all personal preference. :thumb: Either can be done fairly cheaply and quickly.
It all depends what you want to do. It sounds like you want bigger tires and a taller truck. If that's so, spindles may be the way to go. Is it 2 or 4wd? Does it have front coil springs or torsion bars?

You can just crank up the torsion bars a little with a wrench, i think its a 15 mm, it will ride a little rougher or you can get new keys for it but thaose will cost you anywhere from 100 to 150 buck, it will throw it a little of allignment depending on how much you crank them but even with the allighnment from somewhere its still cheaper than any other option, i did it on my truck to level it out and my dad did also on his tahoe just like yours.
The only reason I dont go higher is due to increasing body roll. It also makes the surface area of the vehicle greater decreasing gas mileage. You can use the keys like Z71sierra7787 suggested. It is fairly straight forward mod. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. :thumb: :twocents:

If you want to lower the rear Eibach makes a set of springs to lower the rear.
