I have a 4wd OBS which makes things ever harder to fit. The engine to firewall distance is the exact same between the 350 and how I installed the LS2. It's an inch back in the engine bay to how the S&P style mounts would place the engine. It would definately help in the frame rail clearance, but it would make them tight to the firewall.
