What kind of shifter do I need to get to operate the 04 4L60E in My 72 blazer? Will one out of a trailblazer work or a camaro? I want a console shifter. What else will I need? Thanks

What kind of shifter do I need to get to operate the 04 4L60E in My 72 blazer? Will one out of a trailblazer work or a camaro? I want a console shifter. What else will I need? Thanks
I think the Camaro one would work, it has a cable. If the Trailblazer has a cable it would work too. I think there is a solnoid in those shifters that forces you to push on the brakes to move it from park, It could be hooked to the brake light switch.
