You will NOT need sims. That's the purpose of turning the codes off.
let us know how the trucks runnin Brandon!
Little rough right now. But the PCM still thinks the cats are there. Tune should be here tomorrow. Will post an update.
Brandon, I'm just gonna say this as part of the family. It's mid-March could u change ur sig please it's killing me!(mid-February)
If he sent a tune out with the rear o2's diabled then you do not need simulators,Allen turned them off in the PCM
Tune in. Still surges under power and wont rev over 4k. ses light back on after 30 min of driving. Just need to get down there. Allen please contact me asap to schedule tune.
Damn, that sounds more like a fuel starvation problem. I'd check the pressure and if it's fine check the volume of fuel flow. Do you have the 255 or 340 lph pump? If you can't rev out more than 4k you've got real problems somewhere undoubtedly outside the tune, unless you got a bad PCM. An incorrect installation of the Walbro fuel pump can cause more bad than good. If the connection between the pump and steel line comes loose, leaks or the connector hose ruptures the truck will still run but not have enough fuel to perform.
fuel system remains unchanged from the prior setup. walbro 225, 43 lb inj. never had a fuel prob before. will check pressures.
