Here's where I am boys. I am hoping to get the engine and transmission in the truck this weekend. I am putting a T56 behind the 5.3L you see in one of the pictures.
The engine is stock except for a 222/224 112LSA comp cam and a custom tune from Nelson Performance.
I still have some work to do on the transmission. I am moving the shifter forward so I don't have to change seats or cut up my truck any more. The tranny is in several pieces right now.
I hope to be able to clean up the wiring as I haven't taken the stock 4.3 pcm out of the truck.
Is there any reason to keep the original pcm and wiring harness.
I want to keep the stock gauges, I'm just not sure which wires I have to keep to connect back
to. Any help?
Hopefully I will have better (engine between the fenders) pictures next week.

Oh yea that's my dad already cleaning up under the hood. He's been a ton of help.
I'll get it running one day.
