Started the Guage and AC retrofit today. The guages are going to be easier than I thought. My local machine shop is CNC milling a 1/4 inch thick aluminium plate to act as a new bezel for the guages. I am fabricating the new backing plate out of abs plactic and will remote mount the inverter for the dash lighting to somewhere under the dash for clearance. If you guys didnt know the vette has no guage lights instead it has a pair of what looks like black lights with mirrors that illuminate the cluster from the front. its going to be compact and will mount in the factory location. will post pics when the cluster is going back together. As for the AC its just a matter of fabing up some brackets to mount the box and controls and then grafting wiring to run the system.
