Because my Ccards are maxed out now!
Parts are in and i'm now waiting to get up on the lift.
I am broke but not broken.
So here's what's going in next week.
Yank TT3000
224/224 114
Dyno tuned
Drive shaft balanced.
That's it, no mas.
So, anyone wanna guess what my #'s will be? Closest one to the right answer gets .........
Well...........Ok, maybe not the last mods....N20 anyone?
-
well i hope you got push rods and springs with the cam. Looks good by the way.
-
Yup, p-rods, springs & everything..I'm hoping to only do this once!
-
well good luck on the once lol, after its done, well you think its done then a new part is needed, to go just alittle bit faster ahahaaaa
-
Is there a Modaholics Anonymous in my area? I need :help: :nutz:
-
What kind of "break-in" does a new cam (springs, rods, etc) require? Torque converter break-in?
-
Roller cams don't require a break in, just good lubricant. The torque convertor shouldn't require any break in either, just take it out and drive it down the highway about 50 miles and all should be good.
-
Great! Hopefully i can get in and get 'er done in time to hit the track on opener. Will be my first time on a track, any wagers on time in the 1/4?
-
not sure about the yank, but PI wants you to do a few 1/4 throttle launches then let it cool, then back to 1/2 throttle launches let cool then do a few wot launches let cool and your good to go. Do a search on yank sight or send them a email and ask, this way you don't harm the converter and loose warrenty. good luck, my time i would guess would be 14.5 at 96mph.
