I finally picked these up from a member on LS1tech last night. I installed them after a stop at Taco Bueno...if you guys don't have a Taco Bueno I am sorry. It is excellent fast food of Mexican food. Anyway...The light output is very clean and clear, not yellowed like the stockers. Almost white.
I am happy with these bulbs and would recommend them for sure.
did you just get the low-beam or did you get all four (highs & lows)? i was thinking about putting some of these on my truck but they are like $40 a pair and that is money that i don't have right now. :sad:
I put a set of low beams in a few weeks ago as well. They are much better than stock. A brighter, white light. Worth it for sure......
I went just for the lows...they were $20 used for the pair. At some point I'll get the high beams too

I replaced my low beams with these. They are sweet as hell!! A lot better then any of those ricer "high intensity" lights. :thumb:
On top of that they survived emersion in swamp water.... can't say the same for the chrome coating on the reflectors though. :doh:

Has anyone tried the PIAA replacement bulbs? They are more expensive but suppose to be brighter.
I think Fast4.8 on Tech said he recetnly swapped to the Silver Stars and liked them better.Quote:
