Check out this thread on the hptuners forum, this guy has a vette and did a WOT 3-4 shift and it toasted his tranny, and now he wants to do it again! I think no matter what you do, a 3-4 WOT shift on these trannys isnt a good idea!

I've seen ALOT of people burn their trannies like this, enough to know not to do this!
I would do it but I think mine's fried right now. Time to rebuild the trans again, maybe. Time to hit Cottman's and have a diagnostic test run.
I'm wondering how darn fast I would be going top 3rd gear at 6000 rpm :eek:
