There has been alot of discussion about what lengh push rods to use with the Z06 cam in the truck motor.
It seems like the consensus is around a 7.425 or 7.435. I can't find any that lengh. Where are they available?

Post over in the parts wanted section of LS1Tech. There is a dealer there that has a dozen sets of the 7.425" pushrods. I am going to be converting to the 7.450" on mine before long since the 7.400" make mine sound like it has solid lifters. CLACK CLACK CLACK CLACK :tantrum:
BTW, I have a Comp Cam, not LS6.
I have the LS6 and its a bit of a noisy valvetrain. I'd go for the 7.425", i'll be doing this as soon as I build the funds, I know its a cheap mod, but i just bought a jet ski and I gotta get it fixed the way I want it first
I looked into this before I installed my cam. I believe the corect lengh for us is 7.427 Witch was not available at the time. I dont know if there is one or not now as this was a while ago?? I ended up going with Thunder Racing 7.4 pushrods. They do measure 7.415 as you might have read. That will only put you out 0.012 from perfect. I have no noise nor problems myself.
This shit is the same reason I could barely pass geometry!
Yea I know every time I look into it I second guess myself. Another thing if we go with a shorter or longer pushrod, do you lose lift? I have seen bolth sides, and 4 years later who really knows what to do?
If the pushrod is too short you lose lift.
