Greetings to everyone
I went to Texas Raceway today 1/8th mi in Kennedale Tx. I have a '05 scsb chev. w. 8200 mi. Ran a 9.84 at 72.06 coming out at idle. It is bone stock. Does this seem OK? Thanks in advance.

Welcome aboard. :thumb:
Welcome!
I would have been there myself but decided to clean the valvebody in the 60e.
I go to Denton raceway on Fridays, myself.
9.84 is normal for a stocker. You need a good tune. Those things are so much faster than that with a few bolt ons and a good tune. Check on VV8's postings. 5.3s running 12.52 in the 1/4 naturally aspirated. You too can learn to fly. :thumb:

welcome...call allen and get you a good tune for that thing....
Thanks everyone. I think this summer I want to do FI. Not absolutely sure which one though. I don't really want to get crappy mileage cause it will stay my daily driver, but I wouldn't mind if it would outrun my vette. (spun my way to an 8.22 yesterday). I actually like driving my truck more. Later
