Hi all, I am new at this site and have some questions. I'm in the process of putting a 03 ls6 and a 2002 4l60-E in my 89 SCSB. I am curious about gauges. How do I get my tach, temp, and voltage sensors to function with this setup. Also I ordered a set of type 3 midlenghts from S&P. Does any thing on the truck need to be modified?
And how do I post photos?
Photos are in the pics video section now

For water temp, buy a 98 F-body water temp sensor and wire it in with a new connector. The additional third wire is the temp sensor lead for the gauges. As for oil pressure, you have a few options. I removed the stock oil sending unit and put the original factory pressure gauge in it's place using an adapter made from a broken sending unit I drilled out and tapped. You can also tap out the fitting that bolts to the side of the oil pan above the oil filter. Use the factory wiring for the oil pressure gauge. The voltage sensor is independant of the engine wiring harness. The tachometer can be made to work using an adapter made by BakerElectronix.com.

Look at the header thread in this forum, those headers will work but not perfectly like S&P says they will.
You'll have to host your pics at photobucket.com or a similar site

You'll have to drop the tank and install a higher pressure fuel pump, a direct swap out of the original. A walbro 255 lph pump works great for this application. I bought the one they recommended for the Buick Grand National. You'll have to fab some exhausts. The A/C will not fit in the frame rails. Modification of the frame will be necessary or the a/c will have to be relocated. Pretty much everything else is a bolt in application.

Thanks for the help guys. The truck had a 406 TPI before I started the swap so the fuel pump that i have will be good enough. it outputs 100 PSI and I got it hooked up to the vette filter/regulator.
