Parish8 over on LS1Tech hosted this for me. Its with a full tank of gas and my nine yr old in the back. Looks like I need tuning in a bad way.... It shifts below 5000!! I have no way of adjusting this since the superchips tuner that came with the blower has no options, just their tune. :tantrum:

you can attach pictures to these posts, so you can posts pics without them being hosted...just in case you didnt already know, but i realize you probably linked cuase its large.
cool. i didnt get one of those programs, must be the new g-tech pro, i got an old one.
Hey, that's moving for a big truck, it looks like it's pretty consistant too, for street testing.
The superchips tune: i wasn't really impressed when i installed it on the '03 truck either, the shifts seemed like they could have been harder, the downshifts sucked ( i think they got a little better with driving though) and the idle surged just a little bit too.
I'm sure it's hard to send a program out though that is meant for 1,000's of vehicles and driving condtions.
It can however be greatly improved upon,
Dyno: very soon, I have something lined up in order to get it, I'll def. keep you posted, trust me, i can't wait more than anyone, hehehe,
i'll have to install a computer at the shop when i get it, i'll always be there, lol

computer at the dyno means real time online updates! woo hoo you can dyno and post online at the same time.
as for the pics....i have no place to host any of my plentiful pics, so im big on attachements...lol
Thanks Allen. I need the shift points moved up for sure. You can see by the G's graph on the software how it drops after the shift. I think with that, and letting you dyno tune it, it should be below 15. :burnout:
I found a good road to test and ran it both ways and it looked consistant. I wish I would have a test or run to go by stock. Another 1500HD on LS1tech ran a 16.01 stock so it must have been around there....

You should EASILY get below 14's with that. I bet TqMgt is still killing you and 5000rpm WOT shifts suck. You have a 4L80E right? Well time to abuse it!Quote:

Ya that 4L80 and 14bolt are the last things I'd worry about breaking :laugh:
Tq mgt must be part of it the way it bucks during the shifts. I'd like to try it at about 5600 or 5700 to see what the Ggraph looks like. I might have to get down to SA before Allen gets the dyno just to get that stuff tweaked out.

I talked a buddy of mine to take a road trip there with me...leave about 6am get there around 11am-12noon. Tune it, eat some grub. Hit some sights...then back home.Quote:

You could always stick a TransGo in your truck and maybe some LT's

I have a couple of other guys who want to come on down. I'll have the dyno soon enuff and then it'll be a blast. Even if you come down and I don't have the dyno, you'll still feel a huge difference, the butt dyno will def. register.
I like to set shifts for the bigger trucks about 5800rpms, that sounds just right, on the lighter trucks and for those who like the most out of it, 5900-6100 ( or even higher if they want it) works great.
