i dont trust anyone who would advertise a product like the velocity stack as a performance product...anyways, i hear the ram air setup fits like crap, you have to remove the plastic cover that goes from your core support to the fan shroud to make it work right(it looks like shit without it). i dont think the ram air works correct if you have an aftermarket hood since it seals to the hood. not too many have tried it but what i have heard is all negative.
if i were to buy another intake i would go with another UPD and modify it the way i have mine setup or get a volant with the ram air setup.
i had VR on the old c5 vette i had, definately a big difference...base #'s in the A4 were 13.2@108 stock, and with vararam and !cats and a loudmouth it was something around 12.82@112....i say thats good for intake and halfassed exhaust

Buddy of mine put a Vararam Setup on his 05 Silverdo and he likes it alot. It looks kind of weird but he said he liked it alot better and noticed a bigger difference than he did with a K&N Gen II on his other truck. DO IT!!! if you think it is crap send it back and get your re-fund.
 but why you need that with an STS kit
Yes you can be the test dummy squirrel.
