I thought I'd start a thread like this again and see what we can come up with. What kind of headers did you get to fit in you OBS trucks? Looks like S&P G-Body headers will work with some mods to the frame or sending them mback to get the tubes bent.

I've been thinking about getting a set of long tubes from hooker that fit the 93 and buy LS1 flanges and tubing to marry them together. Food 4 thought.
Can tell you from experience, Pacesetters will not fit (w/o notching). If you're good with boxing frames, or want to spend the money, go for it. I hear S&P does custom headers for the OBS trucks, but they're not cheap.
F-body & truck manifolds (w/o AIR & EGR) seem to fit best w/o mods. If someone posts more thoughts, there may be some light at the end of the tunnel for OBS LT setups.

man decisions for headers back to mufflers are so hard to pick out. especially when i decide to do an engine swap. i dunno what im going to pick. i guess this thread will help

Here's a pic of Nicks G-Body header on the passenger side. Not to great a picture but you can see how close it os to the upper control arm bushing ecentrics. This is on a 98 Chevy.

The above pic is pretty much what I've got on mine, although that really isn't where the major problem lies. The real problem is with the #2 cyl. tube, it runs sort of behind all the others and over the top of the motor mount and this is where it hits and won't allow the flange to pull up flush with the head, thus the need for a hammer. I'll take some pics and post up later.
