The sensor is in the bottom of the coolant container. Once you fill it above the cold fill line it will not turn on again. Don't trust the stains on the tank, look inside the cap.
My '01 would flip on and off. Once I put some coolant in it quit.
Hope this helps

I had the same thing happen on my 02. I had to add very little twice and it stopped coming on. It has never come on since. When i mean very little i mean very little. I guess they can be a little sensative sometimes. If adding to it does not help try tapping on the bottle. The Sensor might have a little gunk on it holding it to read low. If it that does not help it sounds like you might have a sensor going bad. :twocents:

which coolant should i use ? should i get the coolant from the dealer? i think its like 20 bucks per bottle.

Heck no, go down to the parts store and pick up a bottle. It should be dex cool in it. Dealerships mark up that stuff soooo bad it is stupid. They wanted like a 100 dollars just for diff fluid in my truck. I told them no thanks. Drove down to parts store and had like tops 30 bucks out. HMMMMMM mark ups again. I hate that so much.
