i was coming up to a stop sign and i put my seatbelt behind my back to lean over and roll my window down, since i dont have LS. boo for that. but as i leaned back up there was a cop at the stop sign waiting for me to go, so i turned and next thing i know he flipped his lights on, and gave me a ticket for no seatbelt. man i told him what the deal was. but they dont seem to listen to kids that are smarter then them :grr:

looks like suspension and rims are gonna have to wait until i can get this one paid off.

Contest it. Maybe he won't show up for court.

if i cant get on deferred judification then i will try. but like what happens if i lose, because he showed up and said i didnt say that, because like i tried to tell him, but he was just like lemme see your liscense. will they put me in jail to do some time? :laugh: and if i lose would i have to pay court fee and the ticket?

You'll have to pay them anyway. I'd at least try it. Many times the smaller town police don't have time to show up for their court dates and if he is there then you can ask for it to be deferred to a later date. you can ask to defer as many times as you like if you can give a decent excuse. Eventually you may have a court date when the officer doesn't show up and then you win by default. I like small town police because many times they work a second job somewhere and can't make their court dates or they get a job in another town and can't leave it to go to court in the town they no longer work in.

well i mean boerne is small, but they are full time cops. i was gonna try to get deferred because i got a seatbelt ticket about 2 months ago, and then a speeding ticket like last month. so i gotta try and get this off my record, cuz those two are FINALLY on my record after like the 10 tickets ive recieved (but luckily i got deffered and defensive driving on most of them)

I was ornery in my days but never got that many tickets. It just took a couple before I realized I liked spending my money on myself more than paying for traffic fines. :whack:

yeah i jsut get careless sometimes. but it sucks when you get pulled over by at least every cop in boerne. it was funny, when i got pulled over today, the cop out of the blue right when he walks up, he gets my liscense and goes, oh so you got a new truck? when did you get this? ( i used to have a 95 s10, standard 2.2l and chopped exhaust for 3 years. so i was pretty well known by what i drove) and then some more jibbuh jabbah and then he asked me hows runnin in college bla bla bla. so it kind of sucks that they know who i am.

We have 1 Sheriff and 3 deputy's...

they all love me :devil:

:bs: these small town barney fifes get there nut off on giving people a hard time, 2 weeks ago i got stopped twice , 1 for seatbelt and other 4 exp tagson my beater ,my b-day was only 3 days before, made me go to court and i paid 125$ and 55$ on the seatbelt, MERRY F**KING CHRISTMAS :flipoff: :bs:

When I had my bright red turbo charged TA I got pulled over 6 times w/ in a year driving to my family's house out in east TX. 2 1/2 Hr. drive threw nothing but heck towns. Out of the 6 times I was pulled over, I only got one ticket for my license plate bulb being out.
I wonder if they will mess w/ the old beater. :laugh:
